Botond graduated from University College London, London, UK, with a Bachelor of Laws degree in English Law in 2020. His passion and interest in soccer led him to undertake a Master's Degree in International Sports Law at the Universitaria Escuela Real Madrid, Universidad Europea, Madrid, Spain, where he graduated at the top of his class with distinction.
During the Master, Botond did an internship at Real Madrid C.F. as a sports lawyer.
In 2021 he moved to the boutique sports law firm, Sportia Law, in Madrid, where Botond is responsible for acting on behalf of clients before sports dispute resolution bodies such as the FIFA Football Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland.
